An overview of genus Pteris L. in northeastern India and new report of Pteris amoena Blume from Arunachal Pradesh, India

The present paper highlights a taxonomic account of genus Pteris L. (Pteridaceae E.D.M. Kirchn.) with newly reported species amoena Blume, which was collected from the Pange range Tale Wildlife Sanctuary and Hapoli Primary Forest, Hapoli, Lower Subansiri District Arunachal Pradesh. communication is based on plant exploration in-depth surveys done by first two authors through scrutiny herbaria literature. All are enumerated in this list along worldwide distribution (outside India), local Pradesh, northeastern India as NEI included other Indian states. Reported shows some morphological closeness P. terminalis Wall. ex.
